Steinfeld adapts well to NASCAR K&N Cars

Picture
Griffin Steineld endures a bitter sweet day in Roseville, CA at the K&N Pro Series West division of NASCAR.  Steinfeld missed the starting grid by a tenth and a half of a second and was not allowed to use the owners provisional the team felt it had.  The positive is, Steinfeld proved he belongs in this elite division of NASCAR drivers and in final practice was only 2 1/2 tenths of a second from the speed last years series champion, Greg Pursley in his final practice.  Steinfeld adapted to the track quickly and had to contend with a car that weighed 3450 pounds compared to 2950 pounds.  A truly remarkable peformance!
